Bulgaria’s alpine snowboarders Radoslav Yankov, Alexander Krashniak, Tervel Zamfirov and Malena Zamfirova held an official training session in Livigno on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s start in the parallel giant slalom at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
Yankov is competing at the Olympic Games for a fourth time, while the other three athletes are making their Olympic debuts. Bulgaria has never before fielded four snowboarders at the Games, a milestone that places the country among the leading nations in the discipline.
The Bulgarians will open their Olympic campaign on February 8, with qualification runs starting at 10:00 am and the finals scheduled for 2:00 pm. The races will be broadcast live by Eurosport and Bulgarian National Television.
