The BTA Multimedia Centre offers a high-tech public environment for presentations and scientific forums, corporate meetings, book presentations, documentary and art exhibitions, film screenings, theatre performances, musical performances, social events, and others. It includes a multi-functional hall with 100 seats, a space for informal contacts, and an exhibition area.
The interior of the hall, designed by architect Boyko Kadinov, has a unique aesthetic and references the facade of the BTA building, which has become one of the architectural symbols of Sofia and the right to information.
The hall has the following technical capabilities:
- a studio for recording and streaming video and audio;
- a cinema with a 180-degree screen and 6 more touch screens;
- a stage with virtual decor;
- a space (with translation booths) for conferences, roundtables, lectures, and promotional activities.
The Multimedia Centre can be used in any of these capacities as well as a combination of them. The equipment is designed to be as easy to use as possible, enabling teleconferencing with destinations around the world. In addition, the BTA team is ready to assist in the adaptation and presentation of audiovisual content provided by clients. The team also offers custom production of audiovisual materials for events at the Multimedia Centre, as well as information support. Depending on the specifics of the events, the Agency could also enter into partnerships for their organization.
The Multimedia Centre is located on the ground floor of the BTA building, which provides quick access to it, including for people with reduced mobility. Parking spaces are provided, and there is convenient public transport (BTA is on Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard, the next stop after Orlov Most). All conditions for catering services have also been created.
