Biathlete Lora Hristova will donate her competition suit to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) said on Tuesday.

The donation will take place after the final biathlon event on the programme of the Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, the women’s mass start on February 21. A representative of the museum will travel to Antholz-Anterselva to receive the donation.

In a letter to BOC President Vesela Lecheva, the Olympic Museum wrote: “Congratulations on Lora Hristova’s fantastic result in the 15 km competition. It is not every day that one sees a biathlete perform so perfectly. Beyond her outstanding performance, the new page in history she has written for your National Olympic Committee and your country is also phenomenal. For all these reasons, the Olympic Museum would be delighted to add part of Lora’s equipment to its collections.”

On February 11, Hristova won bronze in the women's 15-km individual race with clean shooting. She became Bulgaria’s first Olympic biathlon medallist since Salt Lake City 2002, when Irina Nikulchina also won bronze.
