The Council of Ministers on Tuesday adopted a decree amending Council of Ministers Decree No. 263 of 2021 on secondary budget administrators under the Ministry of Culture, increasing the staff of Bulgaria’s Cultural and Information Centre in Skopje by one position.

The measure is aimed at strengthening the Centre’s administrative capacity and ensuring the full implementation of its cultural programme.

In recent years, the Cultural and Information Centre in Skopje has significantly expanded its activities, organizing more than 400 cultural events and establishing itself as an active platform for the promotion of Bulgarian culture and art in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The government said the change will not result in additional expenditure from the State budget and is in line with the Ministry of Culture’s strategic priorities to enhance international cultural cooperation and increase the visibility of Bulgarian culture abroad.
