The Bulgarian men’s biathlon relay team has finished 12th in the 4x7.5 km event at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

Blagoy Todev, Vladimir Iliev, Konstantin Vasilev, and Anton Sinapov completed the course in Antholz-Anterselva in 1:23:42.5 hours. The team used ten spare rounds across eight shooting stages and avoided any penalty loops.

This marks Bulgaria’s best Olympic result in the men’s biathlon relay since the eighth-place finish at the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympic Games, achieved by Vassil Bojilov, Vladimir Velichkov, Krasimir Videnov, and Hristo Vodenicharov.

The race was also the final Olympic appearance for 38-year-old Iliev, who competed in his fifth Winter Games, equalling the Bulgarian record set by three-time Olympic medallist in short track speed skating Evgenia Radanova.
