“For us it is a matter of pride and honor that Peevski's prosecution is attacking us, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov told journalists in Parliament on Wednesday. His comments were prompted by the requests for the lifting of the immunities of four MPS of Vazrazhdane. Kostadinov said that the ruling coalition is dominated by Peevski, but apart from it, he has a small coalition, which is his private property. It includes MRF-New Beginning, Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria, which always support Peevski in critical moments, and 11 MPs of BSP. “Whenever we have a crunch vote for Peevski, 10-11 BSP deputies vote in favour, which means that he has bought half of the group there,” Kostadinov said.

In his words, when it comes to something that concerns Peevski very much, like the issue of the immunities of the four MPs from Vazrazhdane, his private coalition always joins to defend him. Regarding the immunities, Kostadinov said that Vazrazhdane will no longer give victims to Peevski's thugs and his prosecutors. “Let them come to arrest us in Parliament, let them come to arrest our MPs here,” Kostadinov insisted. 

According to Kostadinov, it is clear who the only opposition is to the "organized crime group New Beginning, which, in his words, should be dismantled. 

"When Peevski launches his next offensive against Vazrazhdane, the two poodles - Radostin Vasilev, leader of MECh and Ivelin Mihaylov, leader of Velichie, always start yapping," he said.
