European Union annual inflation was 2.2% in May 2025, down from 2.4% in April, Eurostat reported on Wednesday. A year earlier, the rate was 2.7%. In Bulgaria inflation jumped marginally from 2.8% in April to 2.9% in May 2025.
The euro area annual inflation rate was 1.9% in May 2025, down from 2.2% during the previous month.
