site.btaCompetitors from over 20 Countries to Participate in Asparoukh's Sword International Fencing Tournament in Plovdiv
Over 500 competitors from more than 20 countries will take part in the Asparoukh's Sword International Fencing Tournament. The competition will be held from January 30 to February 1 at the Sila Hall in Plovdiv.
The competition, which is part of the Sabre World Cup, is for cadets and juniors, both individually and in teams. Among those registered to participate are competitors from Russia, Belarus, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Romania, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkiye, and the USA.
Bulgaria will be represented by about 20 athletes, including Ivaylo Andonov, Preslav Andreev, Deyan Gospodinov, Nikola Ivanov, Nikola Meitsov, and Todor Stefanov.
The tournament will mark the 100th anniversary of the Bulgarian Fencing Federation.
