site.btaNational Sports Academy Signs Cooperation Agreement with Taiwanese Delegation

Bulgaria's Vasil Levski National Sports Academy Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Taipei (UT), Taiwan, established in 1895, the Bulgarian Badminton Federation said. The agreement opens up opportunities for the exchange of athletes and coaches between Bulgaria and Taiwan, with a particular focus on badminton, as well as wrestling, weightlifting, boxing, tennis and other sports. The main goal of the partnership is to raise the standard of sports training, exchange methodologies and achieve sustainable international results.

The Taiwanese delegation, led by the University President, Prof. Yin-Hao Elton Chiu, is visiting Bulgaria at the invitation of coach Orlin Tsvetanov.

The Bulgarian side was represented by Prof. Krasimir Petkov, Rector of the National Sports Academy, Dr Volodya Zlatev, President of the Bulgarian Badminton Federation, and Chavdar Petkov, Member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Badminton Federation.
