Platinum Lion 25 Multinational Exercise Brings Together Servicepersons from Four Countries

The Platinum Lion 25 multinational exercise started at the Novo Selo training area on Wednesday and will run through June 27. The exercise was launched by the commander of the Fifth Brigade command of the army, Colonel Ivan Valev, the Defence Minsitry’s press service said on Wednesday. 

More than 190 servicepersons from four countries - Bulgaria, Italy, Romania and Montenegro - are participating in PLATINUM LION 25. The exercise focuses on the defense of a mechanized company in the first echelon of a battalion battlegroup. In his opening remarks, Colonel Valev, who planned the exercise, emphasized his hope that all participants will gain new knowledge and skills throughout the event.
