site.bta Israeli Tourists Fly Back Home on Special Israir Airlines Flight from Varna

Israeli tourists staying at resorts near Varna have flown back home a flight operated by Israir Airlines, Honorary Consul of Israel to Bulgaria Orlin Mandov told BTA on Wednesday. Airport officials confirmed that the flight to Tel Aviv was unscheduled.

The plane departed with a delay. A regular Wizz Air flight to Tel Aviv earlier in the day was canceled.

Mandov noted that children were among the departing tourists. He added that he remains in contact with other Israeli guests still vacationing in the country.
