Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina was Europe's hottest town on Tuesday, August 13, when it recorded a temperature of 42.6 C, the web portal Klix.ba says, quoting BH Meteo. The second-highest temperature on the continent was measured in Aydin, Turkiye, at 42.3 C, and the third-highest, in Cuprija, Serbia, at 41.2 C.
