A meeting between Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and Schwarz Group CEO Gerd Chrzanowski in Munich focused on opportunities for partnerships in building a European information infrastructure and developing projects in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, the Council of Ministers press centre announced on Friday.

During the meeting, Zhelyazkov presented the government's policies aimed at improving the business environment. These policies include implementing effective investment incentives, promoting research and development, and developing public-private partnerships. Zhelyazkov emphasized that Bulgaria's eurozone membership further strengthens the country's macroeconomic stability and makes Bulgarian markets more attractive for long-term and high-tech investments. According to Zhelyazkov, this creates a predictable financial environment and provides additional guarantees for international investors. 

The press release notes that Zhelyazkov presented the capabilities of the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT), its global potential, and the prospects for partnerships, joint research, and applied projects. The meeting also focused on the importance of deepening cooperation in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence through collaboration between the state, scientific community, and businesses.
