Most tourists in the Republic of North Macedonia in December 2025, came from Turkiye - 7,303, Bulgaria - 5,214, Serbia - 4,736, and Greece - 3,438, according to data from the country's State Statistical Office.
In December 2025, 59,521 tourists visited the country, generating a total of 112,001 overnight stays. Of the total number of tourists, 63.3% were from other countries, while domestic tourism accounted for 36.7%.
In the January-December 2025 period, the total number of tourists increased by 6% compared to the same period last year, with local tourists decreasing by 2.2% and foreign tourists increasing by 10.3%.
