site.bta Turkish Energy Company BOTAŞ Signs Gas Supply Agreement with Romania

Turkiye's  BOTAŞ oil and gas company has signed an agreement with Romania's OMV Petrom company for gas supplies from October 1, 2023 until March 31, 2025, the Turkish company said. Romania will receive up to 4 million cubic metres a day.

 BOTAŞ and OMV Petrom agreed to develop cooperation in the field of supplies, storage and production of energy resources as well as the use of green energy.

The Turkish company said that it will continue negotiating with other countries interested in gas supplies from Turkiye.

 BOTAŞ has gas supply agreements with Hungary and Bulgaria, the company recalls.
