Anadolu Agency Editor-in-Chief Yusuf Ozhan greeted the Bulgarian News Agency's new Ankara correspondent Ayse Sali on Monday and promised her that she would not be alone. He attended an event that presented both the new BTA correspondent and an exhibition featuring posters from productions of Bulgarian plays translated into Turkish by Prof. Huseyin Mevsim.

Ozhan compared journalism to a phoenix bird because of its ability to burn every night and be reborn from its ashes in the morning.

Turkiye is a country where the media is highly developed, he said, wishing Sali well in her future role.

Ozhan also congratulated Prof. Mevsim, who he said had created a bridge between two countries and two cultures with his many years of work.
