Asked whether he plans to set up his own political party, Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev Saturday said that "people everywhere insist." He spoke to reporters in Sofia, where he took part in a Panikhida service honouring fallen Bulgarian soldiers on the occasion of Michaelmas.
"Only the party that I personally announce can be my party," Radev said.
"'March 3rd Movement,' 'Movement for a Presidential Republic' and whatnot have nothing to do with me or the presidential institution," the head of State added.
"The people who claim to be organizing my party and are collecting money in my name are fraudsters and proxies of the oligarchy," he noted.
