All participants in a competition for a message of Sliven Region for the Rozhen Flagpole project received prizes at BTA's National Press Club on Wednesday. Sliven's Deputy Regional Governor Antoniy Andonov handed out the prizes to the winners and all the Young National Revival Clubs which took part in the competition.

The message "Our ancestors stand for pride and dignity, we stand for courage and bravery" will be engraved at the base of the 111-metre flagpole to fly the Bulgarian flag above the Rozhen meadows in the Rhodopes. The prize for this message went to the students of the Prof. Dimitar Tabakov High School of Economics in Sliven.

The Nayden Gerov Primary School in the village of Gavrailovo took second prize for "Head held high for Bulgaria!". The Hristo Botev School in the village of Samuilovo took third prize for "A piece of heaven and a piece of earth - to me, Bulgaria, you are everything!"

Fourteen Young National Revival Clubs from the region suggested messages on the topic "From today's people of Sliven Region to our descendants".
