site.btaAlliance for Rights and Freedoms Sees "Good Intentions" Behind GERB Leader Borissov's Tuesday Speech

Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF) Deputy Floor Leader Dzheyhan Ibryamov said he found "good intentions" in GERB leader Boyko Borissov's speech during a Tuesday meeting with members of the GERB-UDF parliamentary group. "We will see if Nataliya Kiselova will be replaced as National Assembly Chair," he added.

On Tuesday, Borissov said his party would no longer help ensure a quorum in Parliament, casting doubt on whether GERB would remain part of the governing majority. The GERB-UDF FLoor Leader also criticized Kiselova, saying she is attending too many events. She should ask before she goes, Borissov said. 

Another ARF Deputy Floor Leader Taner Ali saw "a game being played" behind Borissov's words. According to him, one possibility is that MRF - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski will officially join the Government. "The other option is that Borissov has realized that the MRF leader is twisting his arm," Ali added.
