European U19 champion Kaloyana Nalbantova won silver medal in the women's singles at the international badminton tournament in Pessac (France).

The number 2 ranked Bulgarian lost in the final to the leader in the scheme Tong Tseou-Tung from Taiwan with 17:21, 21:17, 11:21 in 64 minutes.

In the third decisive game Tun led 15:8 and reached the final.

Thus, the Bulgarian athletes finished the competition with two awards, after the men's pair Peyo Boychinov and Ivan Rusev won bronze medals.
