In Petrich, Firefighters Respond to Four Calls for Flooded Houses in Past 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, firefighters from the regional directorate for fire safety and civil protection in Petrich have responded to four signals for flooded houses, Chief Inspector Stoyan Tilev, head of the service, told BTA. Two of the flooded houses were in the town of Petrich, one in the village of Novo Konomladi, and one in the village of Rupite, he added. According to him, the situation overnight was calm and no new calls were received.

On Thursday, the Municipality of Petrich declared a state of disaster due to heavy rainfall, which remains in effect until December 3.
