In December 2025 the production index in the ‘Construction’ section decreased by 2.3% compared to the previous month, show National Statistical Institute data published on Tuesday. The data are preliminary and seasonally adjusted. The calendar-adjusted data showed a rise of 0.6% in the construction production compared to the same month of 2024.

Monthly changes

Compared to the previous month, a decrease was seen in the production of specialized construction activities - by 3.9%, in the civil engineering - by 2.9%, and in the production of building construction - by 0.4%.

Annual changes

Compared to the same month of 2024, a rise of the production was registered in the civil engineering - by 3.5% and in the construction of buildings - by 2.6%. A decline was observed in the specialized construction activities - by 3.9%.
