site.btaEUR 68 Mln Paid Out to 89 Municipalities under Municipal Investment Program February 20 to March 2, Finance Ministry Says

Over EUR 68.9 million has been disbursed under the Municipal Investment Program from February 20 to March 2, the Ministry of Finance reported Thursday. The money is part of the EUR 192.1 million approved but unpaid funds under the program as of February 19.

The Ministry said that a total of 89 municipalities have been paid for the incurred and reported costs of 209 projects, explaining that the payments include advance, interim and final payments, as well as for construction and design supervision, according to the stages of implementation of the projects. 

The total financial resources under the program, as part of the extended state budget law, are up to EUR 460 million, said the Ministry. Payments are made only for projects included in Appendix 3 to the State Budget Act of Bulgaria for 2025.

The Ministry intends to made public updates on the payments made on a weekly basis.
