Judoka Ivaylo Ivanov claimed the title at the Zagreb Grand Prix on Sunday, defeating Luka Maisuradze of Georgia by ippon in the overtime of the 90 kg final.

Maisuradze, Ivanov's opponent, was third at this year's World Championships, second at the Grand Slam tournaments in Paris and Tokyo, and currently ranks fifth in the world.

Earlier, Ivanov secured four wins to reach the final.

The Bulgaria team left Zagreb with three medals. Boyan Yotov (66 kg) and Viktor Skerlev (73 kg) won bronze medals, while Georgi Gramatikov (81 kg) finished fifth.

The tournament featured 370 competitors from 48 countries.
