site.btaSofia Welcomes Moldova Election Results as “Further Reconfirmation of Its European Future”

The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the X social network on Monday that the unequivocal results of Moldova's parliamentary elections "further reconfirm its European future, which Bulgaria firmly and consistently supports." 

"The commitment to the EU and democratic values by the Moldovan society, clearly stated in Sunday's elections and the EU referendum in October last year, will enable Moldova to take its rightful and proud place in our European family," the post reads further.

In the parliamentary elections on September 28, the pro-European Party of Action and Solidarity won over 50% of the votes, based on 99.91% of tally sheets, Moldova's Central Electoral Commission said on Monday. Local media commented that the citizens of Moldova voted strategically and confirmed their country's European path.
