It is still unknown where the drone found near Tyulenovo village (on the Black Sea) came from, Defence Minister Todor Tagarev said here on Monday ahead of an emergency meeting at which he will be heard for an update on the ammunition was found attached to the debris of a drone found in Tyulenovo.
Apparently it fell into the water and the current dragged it to the shore, Tagarev added. This could have happened hours ago or days ago, the estimate at first glance is that it could have been up to two weeks since the fall, Tagarev stated.
The Defence Minister pointed out that a total of 127 amunitions of different nature were destroyed in the first seven months in Bulgaria.
“We cannot judge a trend from a single case,” Tagarev stressed, adding that all protocols were followed. He assured that there was no reason for concern.
