A massive police operation of the Sofia Directorate of the Interior is being carried out in the area of ​​the village of Bistritsa, as announced on their Facebook page. The operation is in connection with the search for the perpetrators of the arson of the car and front door of the house of Bistritsa Mayor Samuil Popov, the Sofia Directorate reports. 
 
According to the announcement, checks are being carried out on the entrance and exit roads, and forensic experts are conducting active operational and investigative actions to identify and detain the perpetrators of the crime. All possible versions are being considered.
