Ferry services from the Bulgarian border crossing points of Oryahovo and Svishtov to Romania have been suspended due to strong wind on Friday, the Border Police Directorate General said.

The ferry service between Oryahovo and Bechet stopped operating at 12.30 pm and the platform is at the Bulgarian bank. The ferry service between Svishtov and Zimnicea also suspended operation and the platform is at the Romanian bank.

The Border Police warned drivers planning to cross the Danube from Bulgaria to head to other border checkpoints.
