A concert of singer Stefan Valdobrev and his band The Usual Suspects, exhibitions and plein air painting are set to enrich the summer cultural calendar of Bansko Municipality, the local administration said.

Visitors to the town of Dobrinishte will be treated to cinema under the stars on Friday evening. On Saturday, the Zagorovche ensemble from the town of Septemvri will give a concert as part of the Dobrinishte Summer programme.

The highlight comes on August 23, when acclaimed singer-songwriter Stefan Valdobrev and The Usual Suspects take over the main square in Bansko. Earlier that day, artist Mila Kulina will lead an outdoor painting session in front of the Tourist Information Center, while a folk group from the village of Kremen will add a local touch to the festivities.

All events are free of charge, the organizers said.
