site.btaHead of Bulgarian Petroleum and Gas Association Says There Is No Fuel Shortage on the Market
Chair of the Bulgarian Petroleum and Gas Association, Svetoslav Benchev, told BTA on Monday that there is currently no problem on the fuel market. Benchev said there is no reason for concern, nor is there any reason to claim that there is not enough fuel.
The expert said: "No one has said that there is no fuel. There is enough fuel, and there is no problem with supplies." He added that there have been no reports of petrol stations running out of fuel, and if such situations do exist, they are isolated cases.
Benchev's comments came in the context of the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control broadening its sanction on Russia by designating that country's two largest oil companies, Rosneft and Lukoil.
