site.btaSerbia’s River Ports Welcome Record Cruise Visitors in 2025

A record number of tourists visited Serbia on river cruises in 2025 according to the Port Governance Agency, quoted by the Tanjug news agency. 

The port agency stated that 222,188 passengers disembarked at the international passenger terminals on the Danube and Sava rivers in 2025, which is an 8% increase from 2024.

Previously, 2019 was considered the most successful season, with 208,000 cruise ship passengers registered.

The report states that the International Passenger Terminal in Belgrade, where the Sava River flows into the Danube, registered the highest number of passengers in 2025: 81,649.
