The Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad (ABSA) said Tuesday that it held a webinar for school leaders focused on sharing good practices and practical solutions to challenges faced by Bulgarian schools outside the country. The webinar, held on February 8, brought together 58 participants from Bulgarian schools in abroad, highlighting the strong engagement within the community and the need for professional platforms for exchange and mutual support, ABSA spokesperson Simona Zaharieva said.

The event was designed as an interactive forum allowing participants to discuss real-life cases, ask questions, and share experience. Key topics included school team management and leadership, inclusive education and work with students with special educational needs, student motivation and retention at secondary level, and the role of extracurricular activities in building strong school communities.

According to Zaharieva, the discussion on inclusive education attracted the greatest interest, reflecting the sensitivity and complexity of working with students with special educational needs in Bulgarian schools abroad.

The Klett publishing house provided access to digital educational resources for each attendee.

ABSA said that the webinar was part of its ongoing efforts to promote professional dialogue, cooperation, and the exchange of best practices among Bulgarian schools worldwide.
