Cross-country skier Kalina Nedyalkova will be the only member of Bulgaria’s Olympic team competing on Thursday at the Winter Games in Milan-Cortina.

Nedyalkova is set to compete in the women’s 10 km freestyle interval race in Tesero. The 24-year-old will start with bib No. 83 at 14:31:30, with 111 athletes entered in the event.

Ski jumper Vladimir Zografski is set for his first official training session on the large hill in Predazzo after 21:00. The competition is on Saturday.

In addition to cross-country skiing, eight sets of medals will be decided on Thursday: the women’s super-G in alpine skiing, men’s moguls in freestyle skiing, men’s snowboardcross, the women’s 5,000 m in speed skating, the team relay in luge, women’s snowboard halfpipe, the women’s 500 m in short track and the men’s 1,000 m in short track.

The programme also features the men’s skeleton event, along with fixtures in the men’s and women’s ice hockey and curling tournaments.
