site.btaBulgaria Air to Bring Home Stranded Tourists with Charter Flight from Dubai

Bulgaria Air will operate a charter flight from Dubai to Sofia on Saturday, March 7, to bring home stranded Bulgarian tourists, the national carrier’s press office said on Friday.

It said the flight is organized by the tour operators Bohemia and Abax and will use an Airbus A320 with a total of 180 seats, all of which are filled.

The aircraft will depart from the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna at 8am local time on Saturday and will fly the route Varna – Dubai – Hurghada – Sofia. It is expected to land in the Bulgarian capital at 9:15pm the same day.

Another 326 Bulgarians are expected to return from Dubai on Saturday on a flight operated by GullivAir.
