Austria June 11-12
Sofia, June 9 (BTA) - Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for 
Judicial Reform and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva will 
pay a working visit to Austria on June 11 and 12.
Zaharieva will attend the European Forum Wachau at the Goettweig
 Abbey on June 10 and 11. The forum is a leading European 
discussion platform for the exchange of ideas on the future of 
the EU. The debates will focus on how united Europe can move 
closer to its citizens so that every one should be motivated to 
contribute, how the European continent can overcome more easily 
the existing crises, how Europe can uphold its values and how 
citizens can regain a sense of security, peace and prosperity.
Zaharieva will hold a series of bilateral meetings with Austrian
  Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Justice Wolfgang 
Brandstetter and Fiona Hyslop, Scottish Cabinet Secretary for 
Culture, Tourism and Foreign Affairs.
The Bulgarian Foreign Minister is also set to meet with Austrian
 Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz. Their meeting will focus on 
bilateral relations and cooperation between the EU Presidency 
Trio countries which include Estonia, Bulgaria and Austria 
between July 2017 and December 2018. Zaharieva and Kurz will 
discuss topical issues on the European and international agenda 
including Brexit, the European prospects for the Western 
Balkans, migration, etc.
In the Austrian capital Zaharieva will meet with representatives
 of Parliament. She will hold talks with Hermann Brueckl, chair 
of the Bulgaria-Austria parliamentary group for friendship, 
members of the group and members of the foreign affairs 
committee in the Austrian Parliament.
