BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Andrey Kadishev is the top-of-the-list candidate of There Is Such a People for Smolyan's 22nd multi-member constituency, the party said here Friday.

Kadishev was born in Banite village, Smolyan Region, in 1966. He completed his secondary education in his home place, after which he graduated from the educational-industrial complex in Smolyan with a profile in industrial electronics. He was admitted to the Technical University of Varna in Technology of Machine-Building and Metal-Cutting Machines, with a profile in metal-cutting machines and robotics, the party said.

After graduating, he worked as manager of the Motor Transport Enterprise in Banite. Later he worked for many years in the private sector as head of transport. In 2011 he started work at the National Electric Company as a fitter for repair of machines and equipment. In 2021 he was appointed deputy regional governor. In 2022 he was secretary of the Regional Administration. He now works again at the National Electric Company.

He has two daughters.
