BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Zlatan Zlatanov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Vazrazhdane for Ruse's 19th multi-member constituency, Milena Hinkova, chair of the Constituency Election Commission in Ruse said Friday.

Zlatanov told BTA he is 47 years old, is married and has two children. He graduated in Law from Ruse University. He was a long-standing student leader. He has 20 years of experience as a lawyer and is chair of the Bar Association in Ruse. He was a member of the 48th, 49th, 50th and 51st National Assemblies.

He said he chaired the friendship group with Iran in the 50th and 51st National Assemblies and was the only Bulgarian politician to visit Iran immediately before the start of the war, at the invitation of the Iranian parliament.
