BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Emil Borisov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Vazrazhdane for Targovishte's 28th multi-member constituency, the party headquarters said here Friday.

Borisov was born in 1966 in Targovishte, where he spent his early childhood. He studied in Varna and completed his secondary education at the Kiril Halachev Shipbuilding and Navigation Technical School with a specialization as a sailor-engine mechanic, according to information provided by Borisov to BTA.

He did his military service in Gorna Oryahovitsa. After 1989 he began to engage in his own business. Since 2006 he has worked together with his wife in a company which they expanded until 2018, becoming among the leaders in the market for prescription and sunglasses.

Emil Borisov currently lives in Antonovo and has devoted himself to the idea of improving abandoned and depopulated Bulgarian regions.
