BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Nezhdet Dzhevdet, Mayor of Glavinitsa Municipality, is the top-of-the-list candidate of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms for Silistra's 20th multi-member constituency, the Constituency Election Commission said on its website.

According to the website of the municipal administration, he was born in 1979. He holds three master's degrees, in Ecology and in Law from Angel Kanchev University of Ruse, and in Public Administration from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. His professional path began in 2002 as chief specialist in the Municipal Property and Territorial Planning Directorate of the Glavinitsa Municipal Administration, where he worked until 2010. Between 2010 and 2016 he was director of the Municipal Property and Communal Activities municipal enterprise in Glavinitsa.

Since 2016 he has been Mayor of Glavinitsa Municipality.
