site.btaChief of Defence Eftimov Joins EU and NATO Military Chiefs in Brussels for Security Talks

Chief of Defence Emil Eftimov attended meetings of the Military Committee of the European Union and the Military Committee of NATO in Brussels, the Defence Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday.

The programme for May 14 covered current challenges and priorities for Europe and the world in the present complex security environment, as well as the military expertise needed for future political decisions on specific commitments to secure a stronger and more united Alliance. 

On May 15, EU Member States chiefs of defence are set to discuss key issues on the EU agenda in light of ongoing geopolitical developments and their impact, military missions and operations under the Common Security and Defence Policy, and EU support for Ukraine.
