site.btaWilliam Cholov Wins First Medal for Bulgaria at World Boxing Cup in Warsaw

Bulgarian boxer William Cholov won the first medal for his country at the international boxing tournament in Warsaw "Feliks Stamm" which has the status of a world cup.

In the quarterfinals in the 80kg weight category the Bulgarian achieved victory with complete unanimity over Turkiye’s Birol Aygun. Cholov was very composed and had the lead until the end.

For a place in the final the Bulgarian will fight with the champion of Asia Javokhir Ummataliev from Uzbekistan.
