site.btaSports Minister Vasilev, BOC President Kostadinova Arrive in Beijing

February 3 (BTA) - President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) Stefka Kostadinova and Youth and Sports Minister Radostin Vasilev arrived in Beijing on Thursday. Kostadinova will attend several informal meetings in the Chinese capital before joining the Minister for the Olympics grand opening ceremony at Beijing National Stadium on Friday.

On Saturday, Kostadinova and Vasilev will spectate Vladimir Zografski's qualification attempts in the men's normal hill individual ski jumping event. This will be the first participation of Bulgaria's athletes in the 2022 Games. Then the two will head for Kuyangshu Nordic Centre to watch the mixed 4 x 6 km biathlon relay, which will also feature Bulgarian athletes. LN/NZ
