site.btaBulgarian State Railways to Cooperate with Pakistani Company in Freight Transport

Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) Cargo and the Pakistani trade and logistics company Real Change LTD signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen trade relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and Pakistan, the press centre of the Bulgarian national railway carrier said on Thursday. During a meeting at the Holding BDZ building in Sofia, the sides agreed to cooperate in rail freight transportation, exchange of best practices and optimization of import-export operations of goods.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by BDZ Cargo Chief Executive Officer Eng. Dian Boev and Real Change LTD Executive Director Muhammad Feroz Farooq.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Bulgaria, Modasar Chaudhry, Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Lyuben Nanov,  Holding BDZ Executive Director Martin Angelov and Board of Directors member Dr. Lyudmil Ivanov.

The Pakistani company committed to facilitate as much as possible the documentation for commercial activities, while BDZ Cargo expressed its readiness to provide logistical support in the transportation of cargo on the territory of Bulgaria and the European Union.
