site.btaConstruction Output Falls by 0.4% in Bulgaria in September, Rises by 0.4% in EU, M/M

Bulgaria reported a 0.4% drop in the volume of construction in September compared to the previous month and 1.8% compared to the same month last year, show Eurostat data published on Monday.

A decline of 0.3% in output in the construction sector was recorded in Bulgaria in the third quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2022.

The output of the construction sector rose by 0.4% in the European Union and by 0.5% in the euro area in September compared to August.

On an annual basis (compared to September 2023), construction decreased by 0.3% in the EU and increased by 0.1% in the euro area.
