The Municipal Electoral Commission in Pazardzhik Monday announced the allocation of seats in the newly elected Municipal Council and the names of the elected municipal councillors.

The electoral quota for a municipal seat was set at 785 votes. The seats have been allocated as follows: Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) – 8; Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria – 6; Freedom Party – 5; BSP–United Left – 4; VMRO-BNM (VMRO-BNM, UFD) – 3; GERB – 3; the Morality, Initiative, Patriotism (MIR) party – 2; Vazrazhdane – 2; Forward Bulgaria Movement Party – 2; Direct Democracy – 2; Velichie – 1; Together for a Strong Municipality – 1; George's Day Movement – 1; Agrarian People's Union – 1.

Sunday's election saw a voter turnout of 35.09%, with voters choosing from 597 candidates competing for 41 seats in the Municipal Council.
