site.btaPM Zhelyazkov Visits Coordination Centre at Regional Border Police Directorate in Elhovo
Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov, and Commissioner Anton Zlatanov, Director of the Border Police Directorate, visited the Coordination Centre at the Regional Border Police Directorate in Elhovo, the government press service said on Friday.
The Directorate's employees demonstrated the technical capabilities for video surveillance and border control. The Prime Minister assured the employees that the State will continue to invest in improving working conditions and new equipment.
Earlier in the day, Rosen Zhelyazkov attended the opening of a newly built five-kilometre section of a sensor line on the state border with Turkiye in the area of the village of Kraynovo, Southeastern Bulgaria.
