Former Environment Minister Manol Genov noted that he is leaving the ministry in good shape its various environmental policy areas and gave a high assessment of his team’s work at the Ministry of Environment and Water in Sofia on Thursday, the Ministry’s press service reported.

He presented caretaker Environment Minister Julian Popov with the symbolic key to the ministry, wishing him to "unlock with wisdom and lock with confidence."

The two discussed items on the Ministry of Environment and Water’s agenda where work should continue and which are to be addressed in the medium term.
