BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Smilyana Nitova-Krasteva is the top-of-the-list candidate of Defiant Bulgaria National Movement for Haskovo's 29th multi-member constituency, according to the names of the registered candidates published in Decision No. 40 on the official website of the Constituency Election Commission.

Nitova-Krasteva said she was born in Haskovo. She is a lawyer by education. She was a member of the 42nd, 44th, 48th and 49th National Assemblies.

She was chair of the legal commission and of the commission on lawfulness and public order on Haskovo Municipal Council. She is a former director of State Consolidation Company EAD. She is currently regional chair of Defiant Bulgaria National Movement in Haskovo Region.
