The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday warned of travel problems in northern France due to protests by farmers. A message on the Ministry's Situation Centre website reads that the farmers' protests, which have begun in stages, are blocking the A1 (Paris to Lille), A2 (Paris to Brussels) and A25 (Lille to Socx-Dunkirk) motorways.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends Bulgarian citizens who are temporarily or permanently in France to plan their trips in the country carefully and to plan alternative routes. The protests are expected to continue in the coming days.
