National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova is set to take part in the Conference of Speakers of European Union Parliaments in Budapest, the parliamentary press service said here Monday.
The forum will begin with an opening by Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Laszlo Kover, and Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban is to address the participants in the opening session.
Kiselova is scheduled to deliver a speech in the first session of the conference, dedicated to the Future of the European Union. Key speakers include President of the National Council of Austria, Walter Rosenkranz, and President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
During the second session, EU member state parliamentary speakers are due to discuss the topic Closer to Voters: Regionalism in Europe and Safeguarding Europe's Cultural Identity. The main speakers for this session are President of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy, Lorenzo Fontana, President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, and President of the National Council of Switzerland, Maja Riniker.
During her visit, Kiselova is expected to meet with members of the Bulgarian community in Budapest, according to the parliamentary press service. She will also visit the Bulgarian church Saints Cyril and Methodius, which marks its patron feast on May 11.
